After the failure of the Red glovethe first vaudeville published in 1888, Les Musardises composed at the spa town of Bagnères-de-Luchon were warmly received and brought the author out of anonymity. A new, enlarged edition was published by Fasquelle in 1911.

A handsomely bound copy in full red morocco with soberly decorated boards.

Bound in full red morocco, spine ribbed, boards decorated with gilt and cold framing and fillets, gilt fillet on the edges, gilt head, front cover preserved, slipcase.
