Current edition, no large paper announced but there are 10 copies on Japon and 20 copies on Arches for the Société des XX.

A fine copy of the period by J. Kauffmann & F. Horclois, inscribed "Prix Goncourt" at the foot.

Bound in contemporary style by J. Kauffmann & F. Horclois. Fawn half calf with marbled paper corners, spine ribbed richly decorated with gilt framing, fillets and roulettes, red morocco title page, gilt head, double gilt fillet on covers, cover preserved without spine, bookmark. Some spotting to boards, otherwise in good condition.
