Copper engraving "in the Gallic spirit" from the early 19th century entitled "Lisbeth sees fish and Lucas sees something else".
During a fishing trip, Lucas seems more interested in what is reflected on the surface of the river than in the fish.

The artist, who remains anonymous, entrusted the engraving work to the famous workshops of Louis-François Charon (1783-1839), then located at 26 rue St Jean de Bauvais.
This plate appears in the catalogue of the sale of the collection of the engraving publisher Auguste Jean, dispersed in February 1846 - n°151

A copy is kept at the Metropolitan Museum in New York.
