Published the same year as The accursed poets, Jadis & Naguère collected 42 pieces, including the famous poem dedicated to Georges Courteline, Languor, whose first verses were recognised as the founder of the decadent movement:

By composing indolent acrostics,
A golden style where the languor of the sun dances".
