Impressive edition of Chimeras de Nerval, entirely engraved in copper and burin, with text and illustrations, by Henri-Georges Adam between 1947 and 1950. In the meantime, the artist had devoted himself to sculpture, and this work was never published during his lifetime. At the instigation of Mrs Yvette H. G. Adam, work on the book began in October 1969, with the help of Georges Gadilhe, Henri Jonquières and Robert Blanchet, and was completed in January 1971. The engravings were printed by Marc Charpin on the artist's own press. The book is accompanied by a printed brochure, in the format of the illustrated edition, giving the typographical version of the Chimeras and Other chimeras.
