This Thursday 10 March 49
Little Minou darling
Everything's going well except that I don't have you as a partner. My Junie is far from being a Marie chérie.
Les Parents terribles was a big hit, and as I'm not used to good reviews I'm a bit surprised by what I've read in the newspapers.
How's Mayerling*? Have you finished shooting? I'm sorry I can't be at Ondine's general. I wish you a thousand happy things for here and there. My Minou, give my love to your mum, Pierrette, and my best wishes to your dad. I give you a very tender kiss from the bottom of my heart.
Your Jeannot.

[*The Secret of Mayerling is a French film about the Mayerling drama, directed by Jean Delannoy and released in 1949].

Autograph letter signedone half page in-4, envelope preserved:

Little Minou darling
I send you all my affectionate thoughts and best wishes for success in this role, in which I am sure you must be admirable. A thousand kisses. Your Jeannot.

Autograph letter signed and decorated with an ink drawing by Christian Berard, 2 pages in-12 , envelope preserved:

Dear Minou,
Thanks to your dad, I know about the great success of the tour and Minou. I'm proud and happy. What a joy it has been for me to see you recently. Paris without Minou is very sad. Long live Mayerling. Berard, who is in Milly and who adores you, talks to me all the time.

Autograph postcard signed "Jeannot" sent from Egypt, 1949 :

Dear little Minou
I think about you all the time. I love the people who talk to me about you and who admire you [sic], in other words the whole of Egypt.
A thousand ailments
Jeannot

Two large original photographs, period silver prints on cartoline paper (30×23.5 cm, including margins) by G. R. ALDO (1905-1953), Jean Marais in The Eternal Return (1943) by Jean Delannoy, each of them bears a signed dedication to one of the Blanchar sisters:

"For Pierrette Blanchar my best wishes Jean Marais".

"For Dominique Blanchar with a big heart Jean Marais".

- Autograph letter signed, one page in-4 :

"Dear Minou, Thanks to your dad, I know about the great success of the Minou tour. I am proud and happy. What a joy it has been for me to see you lately. Paris without Minou is sad. Long live Mayerling. Bérard, who is in Milly and who adores you, has described to me the hairstyle and dresses he would like for you. Alas, I am afraid he is not the costume designer. I've just got back to Paris after a wonderful holiday where I nearly killed myself 20 times. I even had an accident to the face, which has now healed.
Drop me a line to tell me about your successes.  My love to you Jeannot.

[full-length an original ink drawing by Christian Bérard signed Bébé and annotated by Marie Vetsera, depicts Minou in her future role].

A small pencil drawing on a business card from Paul Morihien, Libraire -Éditeur, signed on the back and yet, in another hand, the telephone number of Jean Marais.
