The Corsican writer, Pierre Bonardi (1887 - 1964) was one of Albert London's very close friends. After the death of the journalist, he signed these verses in his homage:
"The true travelers are the ones who leave alone
To go light-hearted, balloon-like
From their inevitability they never deviate
And without knowing why they always say, "Come on."
Rare.
Small tears in the joint and the front board caused by the large margins. A few foxing, a clear spot on the spin head. Good general condition.
