Parisian impresario Gustave Labruyère was secretary of the Théâtre de L'Œuvre, director of the Nouveau-Théâtre, administrator of Mounet-Sully's tour and of Péladan's performances in Nîmes.

Two lines below the mailing, which also appear to be in Jarry's hand, have been scratched out.
