Set of 7 signed autograph postcards addressed to the conductor Walther Straram between 1904 and 1906.

Walther Straram, an anagram of Marie Émile Félix Walter Marrast (1876 - 1933), was close to Jacques Thibaud, Alfred Cortot and André Caplet. Their relationship also brought him into contact with Marcel Proust on several occasions.

- card dated 24 January 1901representing the Church of Saint-Ouen in Rouen, blue ink:

Dear friend, if you could drop by the house tomorrow Wednesday around 7 o'clock, I'd be obliged. Bring me the list of musicians if you like.

- card sent from Köln in Germany on 29 April 1905representing the Cathedral, black ink:

Dear friend, I think Daudelot is falling asleep. It would be very kind of you to go and help him a little and see how things are going. Have the posters been stuck up? Please ask Léon to get the copyists going. Your affectionate Reynaldo.

- card sent on 25 July 1904depicting the Great Waters of Versailles (one tear):

This water feature is at least as delightful as those in the rue de Louvais.

(born in Caracas on August 9, 18741, and died in Paris on January 28, 1947)

French composer of Venezuelan origin, conductor, singer and music critic.
