NOTEBOOK OF 28 SHEETS OF ORIGINAL INK AND WATERCOLOUR DRAWINGS executed by Chas Laborde in the 1920s/1930s; 18 colour prints; figures sketched from life and landscapes worked in great detail.
A travel companion for the artist, the notebook contains a number of captioned drawings and signs that help to identify the places where Chas Laborde passed through: Le Café Farnie and the Porte d'Espagne in Bayonne; the Sémaphore in Biarritz, Hotel du Raisin de Bourgogne in Niort and Place Pigalle in Paris.
