VERY BEAUTIFUL PORTRAIT IN THE SHOP by Marthe Vinot by the Austrian photographer Dora Kallmus, known as Madame d'Ora (1881-1963), one of the few professional women photographers of the early 20th century.

Autograph dedication from Marthe Blanchar to her daughter Dominique Blanchar :

Silver bromide gelatine print mounted on card and  signed in graphite "d'ora paris in the lower right-hand corner (circa 1930). Dry stamp on the card: "d'ora Paris, 22bis rue Eugène Flachat".

Marthe Vinot (1894-1974) had a career in silent cinema, appearing in 29 films by Louis Feuillade and in productions by Gaston Ravel, Maurice Mariaud, Luitz-Morat and Henri Diamant-Berger.
