A French lawyer and financier, Gaston Griolet (1842 - 1934) was co-director of the Dalloz general case lawHe was also Director of the Banque de Paris et des Pays-Bas from 1915 to 1930.
Two years later Proust sent her a copy of Sesame and Lilies (Piasa, Paris, Livres anciens et modernes, 9 June 2008).
