The folio is preserved in its publisher's slipcase decorated with a stencil-painted checkerboard, illustrated with a drawing of a female nude overlooking a moving wheel bearing the 12 Japanese ideograms of the title.

Publisher's hardback cover, illustrated with a nude woman, silver and black checkerboard pattern on spine and edge, covered with a riveted mobile. First title page browned, some spotting without affecting the photographs.
