Michel Raingeard, an RPF MP, was the rapporteur for the bill concerning the Matsukata collection on the National Education Committee. He was in contact with Le Corbusier during the construction of the National Museum of Western Art in Tokyo in 1959. The building, along with 16 other architectural works by Le Corbusier, has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2016.

(Born on 6 October 1887 in La Chaux-de-Fonds, in the canton of Neuchâtel, Switzerland, and died on 27 August 1965 in Roquebrune-Cap-Martin)

Charles-Édouard Jeanneret-Gris, better known under the pseudonym "Le Corbusier", is an architect, urban planner, decorator, painter, sculptor and man of letters, Swiss by birth and naturalized French in 1930.
