François Mauriac

Written between January and September 1924, The desert of love was published as a serial in La Revue de Paris from 15 November 1924 to 1 January 1925. Mauriac develops the history and personalities of certain characters seen in The River of Fire and The Kiss to the Leper. The work, which uses retrospection, is now considered to be his greatest technical achievement.

A very fine copy, finely bound by Georges Huser.
