AUTOGRAPH SIGNED LETTER TO MARGUERITE AUDOUX:

to Marguerite Audoux
his friend
Léon-Paul Fargue

This collection of thirty-six prose poems, with significant variants, reproduces the ten previously published on a self-publishing basis (Nancy, Royer, 1907 48 pp.). It is dedicated to Valery Larbaud who, in 1911, paid for the printing of Tancred, had been able to see that Fargue was "the only obstacle to the publication of his poems".He was so reluctant and nonchalant to correct the proofs! (Bibliography of the Nouvelle Revue Française editionsVigne & Boudrot).

This book is part of the catalogue devoted to Marguerite Audoux that we have just published online, and is available on our website.
