REVIEW COPY, SP printed on back board and on title page.
There is also 85 numbered copies.

Inscribed and signed by the author :

"to Mr. Schoeller
tribute from
Drieu la Rochelle"

This is probably René Schoeller, one of the most influential figures in French publishing, who was general manager of the Messagerie Hachette since 1920.

The extremely rare advertising banner is in perfect condition :

"the life of a man from 1917 to 1937 - isn't that the first time a novelist has dealt with this subject?"

The cover has suffered but the inside is uncut and in good condition.

It is really difficult to find and inscribed copy of Gilles.
