An interesting anthology of lithographic art from the 1830s and 1840s in these works romantic musical scores.
This richly bound factitious collection contains 31 scores for piano or harp, based on the words by Marceline Desbordes-Valmore, Emile Souvestre, Jacques Boucher-de-Perthes, Eugène Scribe, Sophie Gay among others, set to music by Pauline Duchambge, Auguste Panseron, François-Adrien Boieldieu, Matteo Carcassi, etc. 21 of them are illustrated with lithographs by Eugène Deveria, Godefroy Engelmann, Adolphe Menut, Joséphine Clémence Formentin, etc.
These The scores provide an interesting overview of lithography in France in the 1830s and 1840s.
