FIRST EDITION illustrated with "oghamic signs" etched by Jean Cortot.
Limited edition of 82 copies on pure chiffon paper from Moulin de Larroque, all of which will be sold in a limited edition. SIGNED by the author and artist in pencil on the colophon.

Between 1980 and 2000, Jean Cortot contributed to more than 200 artists' books, drawing in particular on his research into the ogham alphabet. During this period, he co-wrote 5 books with Michel Déon, including West-East is the first. It will be followed by Beata Solitudo (1991), Latest news from Socrate (1996) Hellenomania (1997) and Mirror game (1998).
