ORIGINAL EDITION printed at the author's expense printed by Charles Cornillac and illustrated with an engraved frontispiece depicting the vine and its various parts.

This rare booklet was republished in 1825 by the same publisher; the Bibliothèque Nationale de France and most other institutions only hold this second edition. It seems that only the Bibliothèque Municipale de Lyon has the original edition. The text was later incorporated into the Winegrower's manualpublished in 1829 by the same printer and dedicated to Aimé Clerc.a medal and a copy of the Théâtre de l'Agriculture, which were presented to him at a public meeting by the Société royale et centrale d'Agriculture de Paris".
