Complete copy of the rare glossary "technical Brière terms that have no equivalent in the language of countries where peat is not harvested"On an advertising leaflet from the Grasset bookshop promoting Monsieur de Lourdines.
These copies were accompanied by two illustrated sample covers, one for the current print run and the other for the put-through.  The cover (unclipped) of a copy of the SP is added.

La Brière was awarded the Grand Prix du roman by the Académie française in 1923. It was a publishing success between the wars, selling 600,000 copies.
