The structure is clad in a Bound in tinted embossed leather with decoration signed by Louis Dézé (initials LD): on the upper cover, a scene from the novel and the title in an Art Deco frame; on the spine, a winged female nude; on the lower cover, a female nude with a panther's head.

Bound in full brown calf with coloured embossed leather decoration by Louis Dezé. Gilt title on spine, roulette on edges, inner lace, gilt head, bookmark. Dust jacket. First cover preserved.
