Bound in contemporary style. Burgundy half-chagrin with corners, spine ribbed, decorated with gilt fleurons, title, double gilt fillets on covers. Joints cracked, corners bumped, cover preserved, without spine.

Maurice Barrès was born in 1862 in Charmes (Vosges) and died on 4 December 1923 in Neuilly-sur-Seine (Seine).
