There follow 50 copies on vellum paper and 100 copies on Japon paper.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Two hors-texte engravings are originals by F\u00e9licien Rops<\/strong>1 soft varnish, <em>Maturity<\/em> (Exsteens, 51) and 1 etching, <em>La Gr\u00e8ve<\/em> (Exsteens, 343)<\/p>\n<p>A copy luxuriously bound by Georges Chevallier, whose bindings are rare.<br \/>\nThe book is illustrated with a large reproduction of the present binding:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\"<em>Bound in full morocco with pink and olive green mosaics, inside olive green silk endpapers, inside lace, mosaic foliage. Binding by Geoorges Chevallier, 18 Rue Gay-Luassac, Paris.<\/em>\"<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The variety of techniques used for this binding probably encouraged the craftsman to use it to promote his workshop.<\/p>\n<p>Maurice Exsteens.<em> The engraved and lithographed work of F\u00e9licien Rops<\/em>.
