Three early essays appear here for the first time: The Philosophical Praise of My Friend, The Old Polish Peasant and Les Voyages de Codrus. (Vicar VII, 38)

A very fine copy, luxuriously bound in the period by Hirou. in full aubergine calf with boards decorated with a cold floral design.
