Léon-Paul Fargue

Jean Voilier was the literary and journalistic pseudonym of Jeanne Loviton (1902 - 1996). The author of four novels published between 1936 and 1989, she became famous after her sulphurous relationship with publisher Robert Denoël. She inherited the publishing house after the murder of her lover, who had made her the principal shareholder. Openly accused of murder by the publisher's wife and by Louis-Ferdinand Céline, she is, according to Jérôme Dupuis, "the most insulted figure in all of Célin's comedy".. Jeanne Loviton was also "Paul Valery's great love". Dominique Bona recently documented this relationship in a book published by Grasset in 2014, I'm crazy about you.
