One of the first 60 copies on Hollande Van Gelder with a colour suite and a black suite. Followed by 690 copies on grey vellum.
The book includes the text of a lecture given by Georges Eekhoud at the Maison du livre in Brussels, and a bibliography.
18 original full-page lithographs by Fernand Khnopff, Rassenfosse, Gérard Roosen (who also provided the text ornamentation), Anto Carte, Franz Galliard, Louis Titz, P. Abattuci, Louis Buisseret, René Janssens, Alfred Van Neste, Marius Renard, Armand Rassenfosse, Amédée Lynen, Pellens, Constant Montald, Edmond Van Offel, G. Baltus, and Oswald Poreau.

Rare first edition with engravings in triplicate.
