New edition illustrated with 20 original watercolours by Gavarni engraved and printed in colour by A. Porcabeuf et Cie.
These watercolours were wood-engraved in black in 1858 for the edition published by Havard.

UNIQUE EDITION OF 175 COPIES ON VELLUM.

Added at the head a portrait of Gavarni engraved by Arien Nargeot and a portrait of Alexandre Dumas by Messonier on Chine appliqué.

A fine copy, well bound by Lavaux.
