Description

Full-length portrait of two Cubans on the front, portrait of a Cuban woman on the back.
Hidden from the workshop, annotated down Cuba 1917.

In 1914, tensions between France and Bulgaria forced Pascin, of Bulgarian origin, to leave France. He took refuge in the United States, where he had already exhibited in 1912 in theInternational Exhibition of Modern Art from New York City. He stayed for six years and returned to Cuba in 1916 and 1917.
